Join Europe’s largest gospel festival with 5 000 singers from Germany, Europe and beyond! Every other year we celebrate the diversity of modern gospel music in a different city in Germany. In 2024 we will turn the city of Essen into the European capital of gospel music! 

Your weekend in paradise! 

You can spend three days in a true choir community, singing in the mass choir rehearsal and celebrating God during the festival service with 5 000 festival goers! Enjoy some time for yourself at any of the workshops and open gospel singing. Whether you want to perform onstage or experience internationally renowned gospel artists, at Europe’s largest gospel festival you will meet new people and make memories for life!

Good to know... 

...5 facts you may not know about German culture: 

1. In Germany, not all shops and restaurants accept credit cards! If you would like to pay small sums, it is advisable to have cash on you. Especially in bakeries and small corner shops. 

2. Germany is known for it’s bread varieties and its beer. The Ruhr-area features some of the best beers in the world.  

3. Germany is a safe country. Public transportation is not only safe but very (!) punctual and German doctors and hospitals are known for their great staff and work. 

4. In Germany, all shops close on Sundays! Only gas stations (with small corner shops), restaurants and bakeries are open. Other store will be closed, so no shopping on sunday! 

5. It is customary to include a tip of 5-10% in restaurants
